TCHO. (Definitely) a New American Chocolate

TCHO. (Definitely) a New American Chocolate

TCHO is a new kind of chocolate. Literally as they tag themselves as the "New American Chocolate". I've never seen none the less tried this little piece of goodness till today after a wonderful workmate of mine (Patty Laurel) gave them as a little thoughtful gift to us girls. Thank you so much Patty! What a treat, the one I tried was called "citrus". From reading the label it's an organic dark chocolate with 67% of cocoa, not like your average dark chocolates you would see at the grocery store.
Before I took a bite of this piece my pretensions were that it was a bitter dark chocolate that would taste rather tangy like orange chocolate, but to my surprise, it smelled like dark chocolate, looked like dark chocolate but tasted a little sweeter, not as bitter as usual, and wait for it......here's the kick, at first you taste no tangy citrus flavor at all, until the very end. There is this hit of citrus at the tip of your tongue that just drop kicked you out of no where. What a wonderful experience. (not being drop kicked in the mouth) but having some sort of flavor surprise i guess you can call it.
I can't wait to try more of these amazing organic chocolates and even pair them with my favorite coffee and teas. I looked up their website and they have many more flavors to try. I'll make it a goal to try every single flavor. (http://tcho.com/shop/chocolate/bars

The Maxi Skirt

The Maxi Skirt
To be honest i wasn't a fan of "The Maxi Skirt", but when i found this in a thrift store I though hey why not give it try. So after having it washed I tried it out and I fell in love. I love maxi skirts now. They are just so comfy and they for some strange reason they make me look more of a lady (not that i'm not lol) but i'm really not the girly girly, I love my cut off shorts, my boots, sneaks, silly bands you name it. But for when I want to be really girly the maxi skirt does the trick. (not to mention it hides all my scars and bruises from play soccer)

Here I paired my camel colored thrifted maxi skirt with a green top from forever 21, and some Grecian inspired sandals. My total outfit cost less than 500php about 10 dollars! No joke. Gaaah I love cheap thrills, cheers to that!

"Dilemma"
I hate when people buy dogs and they don't even take care of them. Dogs have needs and well this little guy had needs.

Homer is his name, well that's what i call him. You see I "saved" (i would like to say)him but I know its the other "s" word. Is what I did morally wrong? Most of the time i think what i did was right but every now and then i'm not so sure. He was the saddest little thing I've ever seen, tied up by a store all week, with no shade or water, what was I to do. My heart just sank.

For a fact though i know he's a happy dog. He has a Labrador as a best friend now, he is free to roam around and has plenty of food and water. I love him and i'm sure he loves his home now. But honestly every now and then I don't know if my right was a wrong. What do you think?

My Tattoo to be

My Tattoo to be.

I've always been contemplating whether or not to get a tattoo. I never got one because i wasn't so sure of myself so why bother, but this sand dollar always gets to me. I'm not sure if most of you know but a sand dollar is a Christian symbol. It's pretty neat actually. By getting this as a tattoo i'm not trying to be righteous because i'm far from that, and i'm not trying to impress anyone or even God. I just want it for myself. I believe it will help me stay grounded and remind me of my beliefs, and not to mention its a shell. (I love the beach, I've always been an island girl) So i guess this just may be the perfect match.

If your interested to know why the sand dollar is a christian symbol this poem will tell you exactly why.

The Legend of the Sand dollar
Upon this odd-shaped sea shell
A legend grand is told
About the life of Jesus
The wondrous tale of old
The center marking plainly shows
The well known Guiding Star
That led to tiny Bethlehem
The Wise Men from afar
The Christmas flower, Poinsettia
For His Nativity
The Resurrection too is marked
The Easter Lily, see
Five wounds were suffered by our Lord
From nails and Roman's spear
When He died for us on the cross
The wounds show plainly here
Within the shell, should it be broke,
Five Doves of Peace are found
To emphasize this legend
So may Love and Peace abound
